2005: International Children's book fair - guest of
honor, Spain - "A Glance at Don Quixote"
is an exhibition organized by the Spanish Ministry of
Culture : 24 illustrators show theirs views on Don Quichote
(all winners of the National Award of the first Prize
for Children's and Young People's Illustration, which
has been awarded since 1978). These 24 illustrations
are published in the catalogue "Miradas in torno
Al Quijote".
Ilustrísimos gives an overview of the
illustration activity for children in Spain by means
of 2 exhibitions: a " physical " one, with
original illustrations of 29 illustrators, and a "virtual"
one where the artwork of 44 illustrators are projected
on a plasma screen. The catalogue "ILUSTRISIMO"
as well as the Cd-rom (digital catalogue) have been
published.

"Rivages d'enfance" (Shores of childhood)
presents 11 French-speaking illustrators of Belgium.
This exhibition took place in Brussels from the 02/12/04
to the 13/03/05. .
